We designed a trillion dollar bill for Avaaz.org and 350.org, whose joint petitions have garnered over a million signatures asking governments to stop subsidizing fossil fuels and instead invest in green climate solutions.

From Avaaz.org's Facebook page: Members of Avaaz and 350 unfurl a giant trillion dollar bill at iconic Copacabana beach. We're asking world leaders at the Rio+20 Summit to end the trillion dollars governments hand out in fossil fuel subsidies each year and turn this money green instead.

Today (June 18) is the #endfossilfuelsubsidies Twitterstorm -- join in!

My experience with Laryn has been exceptional! Not only was he professional and prompt, I thought he was fair in pricing. As a small non-profit trying to stretch our pennies I felt they went far with this organization. The work he's done thus far was exceptional and can't wait to work with him in the near future.

The Beyond Charity report looks terrific, both in print and as a PDF, which is important because this piece was designed with electronic distribution in mind. As a writer, I especially appreciate that the report is visually engaging, which makes it a more effective tool for communicating information to a variety of stakeholders. The words and the design work hand in hand, and the design is both attractive and functional, giving readers important cues and multiple entry points into a necessarily text-heavy document. Great design like this makes my job easier and more rewarding -- and as always, it was a pleasure working with CEDC!
