The African American Baptist Mission Collaboration seeks to help rebuild, revitalize and advocate for Haiti in wake of the January 2010 earthquake. Their site needed to reflect the style and colors of their logos, providing information about the three main prongs of their work: Projects, Service, and Advocacy. We built their site with Drupal, integrating it with CiviCRM so that all user interactions with the site (such as someone filling out the "Contact Us" form, making a donation, or signing up for a volunteer service opporunity) are fed into the CiviCRM database.
"The African American Baptist Mission Collaboration seeks to help rebuild, revitalize and advocate for Haiti in wake of the January 2010 earthquake. The AABMC was formed in February 2010 and is a partnership of five Baptist communities representing more than 40,000 churches and more than 10 million Christians nationwide, most of whom are of African American heritage."
We worked with the African American Baptist Mission Collaboration to design logos for the collaboration and for their main focus, the "Haiti Will Rise" program. We kept the color scheme consistent to show the connection between them. The AABMC logo includes imagery of cords or ropes being interwoven, with five crossing points which represent the five historic Baptist conventions that came together to form the collaboration and to illustrate the "pulling together" theme that defines their approach.
