CEDC has been working with Convent of the Sacred Heart School to create a unique set of banners for use along the school's main drive. These banners took themes that unify education at Convent of the Sacred Heart, and expressed them in ways meaningful to students, alumni, parents, and faculty. The large format banners are printed on sturdy vinyl treated for outdoor use, see the accompanying images to look at each banner individually.
We designed a logo and developed a microsite for Avaaz.org's Elections Not Auctions campaign, aiming for a nonpartisan flavor. The logo is being used on everything from small printed play money bills, rubber stamps, and large banners at events. (See a slideshow of a recent event here).
CEDC designed the logo, print and web collateral materials for the Inspiring Women Benefit. The Inspiring Women Benefit raises funds to support the reduced and sliding fee scale counseling, educational programs and resources The Women’s Center offers to women and families who otherwise could not afford them.

On October 10th 2012, the Nonprofit Roundtable of Greater Washington held their 10th anniversary celebration at the Kellogg Conference Center on the campus of Gallaudet University. We designed this event program for the Community Foundation for the National Capitol Region for a "celebration of civic spirit honoring The Morris & Gwendolyn Cafritz Foundation and presenting the 2009 Linowes Leadership Awards Recipients."
Avaaz developed a broad campaign relating to the Olympics in Beijing and unfurled it in advance of the opening ceremonies, continuing all the way through to the closing ceremonies. A large piece of the overall campaign that we helped with was the "Love China Love X" theme, which was pushed online, in newspapers, and in unique formats like pedicabs, scooters, and pediwalkers. The three prongs of the campaign were: Love China Love Tibet Love China Love Darfur and Love China Love Burma.
Mentors Inc. has come to CEDC for several years to design materials for their Annual Graduation which honors mentors and graduating seniors. For the May 2008 graduation Mentor's Inc. wanted a different format from the past so we came up with a larger size for the program to better fit all the sponsors and advertisements and a different folding style for the invitation. The project was printed on 100# gloss cover and included a save-the-date postcard, an invitation, envelopes, a reply card, an auction card, and a program book.
Continuing in the style we had created for Mentors, Inc. starting in 2005, we developed their annual banquet/celebration package again, using different colors, a new quote, and new imagery. This year was also the 20th anniversary of the organization!
